I’m 13 so How Long will it take to lose 30 pounds, and what type of excersising should i try?

Im a small over weight so i want to lose 30-40 pounds in about 3-4 months so what type of excerises should i try and for how long each day.

    Go to the library and check out books on nutrition. A couple of exercises are not going to do it for you. You need to study up on how to eat right and be active.

    Im trying to lose 30 pounds in three months also , So i guess were kind of in the same boat? This si the plot im following right now. But lossing weight isn’t just about the excersise you also have to shape up your diet. Here’s what I’m doing right now :

    Food
    -eat 1500 calories a day
    -50% of each meal has to be veg/fruit
    -no pop
    -no chips
    -no candy / junk food
    -no fried foods
    -drink 8 bottles of water a day
    -drink green tea twice a day
    -dont eat after 6:30

    Meal Plot (example)
    breakfast-Cereal/toast and a boiled egg/ oatmeal +plus a fruit of choice
    lunch- Sandwich / soup etc. + a side of salad and fruit of choice
    dinner-grilled chicken/ fish/ + boiled vegetables/salad and fruit of choice

    Exercises- 45 -1 hour of cardio. ( walking, jogging, dancing, biking etc.)
    - 20 lunges – eventually work up to 30 then 40
    -25 squats -work up to 50
    -100 bicycle abs moves -work up to 200 then 400
    -50 crunches work up to 100
    -do this work out 5 times a week .

    its a tough time-line to lose that much weight. i would try to exercise moderately everyday. eat lots of fruits and veggies, and NO soda..not even diet soda. Drink only water and tea, as it helps your metabolism. Try eating around 5 small meals a day. Such as a yogurt in the morning, fruit for brunch, maybe a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, snack a yogurt or fruit, and dinner a chicken with no skin.
    just keep it up. it can be frustrating not to see the weight loss, but it will happen! excellent luck!
