It’s really perilous to lose that much weight in a small amount of time. Not to mention you will look miserable because the only way you’ll do it without a serious workout routine is to starve yourself.

  6. Ta-Zu says:

Being really serious here, but you can’t lose that much in 2-3 weeks.
    maybe in 2-3 MONTHS.

The only way you could is cut off an arm.

  7. wubzy_wubzy_wow_wow says:

i don’t reckon there is any way to loose that much weight in that small of time. if there is a way, i’m sure it isn’t healthy.

  8. itAlY10 says:

why 2-3 weeks? lose it slowly, i know when i was your age and i heard that i didnt even wanna hear it cuz i wanted to lose it quick, but it really better.
Pure dedication, working out, jogging, weight training, DIET. excellent diet……….me for best answer:D

  9. barthebear says:

That would not be healthy. Do not set a time limit but be pleased if you lose 1 or 2 pounds a week. That is going to be weight that you do not place back on as so many people do. Try to walk more and eat healthily. You can do it. Excellent for you

  10. hotonset@sbcglobal.net says:

Have your mom take you to a doctor where he can perscribe medication and do it under his care. Chances are if you weigh that much he will help you for health reasons! Excellent Luck!

  11. Ashley S says:

burn more calories than you eat. so eat fruits and veggies and go running or jogging. try doing ladders too- like run for a minute, walk for a minute, run for 2 minutes, walk for one minute, etc. I had to do that for track and the weight flew off.

  12. davidh12 says:

WEll run a mile each day, and dont spend so much time in eletronics, or lipo

THIS WILL CHEER U UP :)

Run everyday for like 30 mins or more

There really is no safe way.
    Excercise a lot..

Burn off more calories than u intake

circut training is the fastest way to lose wieght, do it once a day and you should lose nearly a pound a day with a reasonable diet, it might be hard but you don’t get results for free hun—excellent luck

  16. Balla says:

all you have to do is walk 8-10 miles a day (or jog) and dont eat 2 hours before you sleep.

  17. Lauren030309 says:

First of all i just want to say if youre 13, you dont need to worry about it but i thought that when i was 13. I dont know if its healthy/possible to lose that much that quick but just watch what you eat and walking is excellent and i do pilates and i like it.

  18. Julie T says:

dear its not possible to lose 30 lbs that quick. Your health is the most vital thing you have in life. Your self esteem is the second most vital thing. Decrease your calories, increase your exercise, and talk to your parents about your concern about your weight, there might be things they can do to help encourage you or medical advice they have about your family that is causing the weight gain. I am sure you are gorgeous the way you are.

  19. Laura S says:

Well hun, I empathize with you. I can only imagine what you are feeling. Losing 30 pounds in that small amount of time may be perilous. I would suggest you talk to your parent or guardian. You should have them take you to see a doctor. They can recommend a excellent solution for you. They may also refer you to a nutritionist. I wish you luck and God bless!

EDIT- I had to say I am disgusted by the person who said to only drink water and eat a small cereal bar. That is just down right horrible! Losing weight can be annoying, but it shouldn’t be perilous! Please don’t listen to that poster! I see you added that you ride a bike. That is wonderful! That is a really fantastic start! You didn’t mention how tall you are. Here is a link to a height/weight ratio. This will give you an thought of where you should be.

    http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/height_weight.shtml

I also want to suggest starting out small. Set a reasonable goal for yourself. Something like losing 10 pounds in 2 to 3 weeks. Make sure you get a full serving of dairy a day. Make sure it is skim milk or low stout. It is proven that getting your full serving of dairy a day will help you lose weight. Also, another thought would be to join your local YMCA if you have one. Swimming is an BRILLIANT way of exercising. It isn’t too strenuous but it is very excellent for you. Again I wish you luck sweety. You will be in my prayers. Excellent Luck and God Bless!!

  20. migrating_monkey says:

Doctors don’t recommend losing more that 5 pounds a week usually.
Go running before breakfast since the calories you use will be stout since you haven’t eaten in the 8 hours you’ve slept.
Get a full night of rest. recent studies have linked diabetes and weight to constant lack of sleep.
avoid sweets and quick food. eat more fiber like celery and some cereals. drink more water, really stop soda pop since the fructose makes you feel just as hungry as before.

  21. Simplee Fabulous says:

Eat super clean. That means only chicken, fish, egg whites and vegetables. No carbs, no sugars, no fruits, no nuts. Get some type of cardio in for 45 min a day. Start lifting the weights. The muscle will really help you burn your stout off quicker. If you stuck with this diet for 2-3 weeks you could probably see some fantastic results for someone with your size of mass. People who carry alot of stout tend to lose weight quickly in the beginning phase of a diet.

  22. David D says:

Not the answer you want, but you can’t.

If you try by starving yourself, your metabolism will lower so much as soon as you start to eat again, you will gain all the weight back and then some. A lot of that will be water weight too. You will also lose a lot of muscle mass and that is even worse because muscle makes your metabolism higher and muscle is hard to build.

You should aim for two to three pounds a week through a healthy diet and high intensity exercise such as running, aerobics or a stationary bike.

  23. Imamsooverit says:

    not happening

  24. Rose says:

Exercise 8 or so hours everyday and you could probably do it.

  25. R M says:

You can’t in 2-3 weeks. It would not be healthy to try. You will just be disappointed.

Start by changing your habits. You can lose up to 4 lbs a week with a regimented schedule of exercise, discipline, and different eating habits.
Go to the Gym, Walk, or Jog for 30 – 60 minutes per day of solid “moving” exercise. Not say, start “exercising at 4 pm, walk for 5 minutes. sit down and watch tv for 25 minutes, and call that exercising at 430 pm. No, 30-60 minutes of getting your heart rate up, moving muscles, and breaking a sweat the whole time.

Cut down on your calories. No drinks with more than 35 calories in it. Cut breads nearly completely out of your diet. No ice cream, chips, or other junk food more than once per month.

    Excellent luck and get moving.

  26. Earl says:

I know that this is not what you want to hear, but that is too much weight to safely loose in such a small period. You could only starve yourself while working out hard- but it would not be excellent for your. Please don’t go for the quick fix. A 2-3 lb per week weight loss is safely possible using a health diet like weight watchers. If you do choose to go the drastic route- please let your doctor know.

  27. chocaletchip says:

    Ok you can do 2 thngs;
    1. Somehow get your self sick with the flu/virus so you won’t feel like eating anythng or else your puke and also ppl wont question you y ur not eating anythng, but you should have fluids, just no food.
    2. Skip breakfast, during lunch @ skool just get a water bottle. when you get home eat 1 small cereal bar, and @ dinner say your realli full and say that u just ate smthng rite b4 dinner/ but remember to have fluids so like you wnt faint.

the other week i was sick wit the flu and i ddnt feel like eating anythng @ all.. and im not self concious about mi weight or anythng, so anyway when i first got sick i was 103 pounds, and then for 3 days(while i was sick and only drank water/ginger ale) and in the end after 3 days i was 94 pounds!!!! i was like woah you can loose weight realli fasT!

  28. kevin c says:

losing that much weight that quickly is VERY perilous. It usually involves a lot of muscle loss as well which is NOT what you’re looking for (this can mean your heart, the muscles that drive your lungs…) Is there any reason for the 2 to 3 weeks as opposed to over time? Honestly if you want a HEALTHY way to lose weight you need to look at your food intake.

Cutting out the snacks, portioning your meals, and switching from soda/juice to water.

Try finding things you like to do that are more active. Hell, even ddr can be decent exercise (helped me lose nearly 50 lbs). I know you probably don’t wanna hear it but if you’re looking to get healthy, it takes time and work. In the end it is SO worth it though (like i said, through just changing my daily routine i lost over 50 lbs). You feel healthier and more active. You ache and hurt less. You have so much more energy and overall you’re usually just in a better mood. It’s really incredible how much your health can affect your mood and outlook on life!

If you just wanna lose weight so you get to be skinny and don’t care about healthy, I dont’ really have much advice and i really don’t reckon you should approach it that way. Excellent luck with your evdevours! :) Hope you find those small ways to slim down and get healthy without too much work!

  29. BREAK THA iCE♄ says:

OMG! i can relate to you, lol. i don’t weigh as much as you, but i am overweight.. i weigh 150 but this is still a lot for both us 13 yr olds, lol. well i really lose weight my original weight was 161 so i lost 11 pounds.. well you eat really healthy. like for a school lunch i drank water and ate a lot of carrots.. then went home and ran about 2 miles on the treadmill everyday. it works, and i lost that much in about 2 weeks.. so eat maybe a banana and water for breakfast, fruit/veggies for lunch, and for dinner eat a small amount of salads or something without dressing like ranch, because thats really fattening!! i ho
pe i helped and excellent luck.

by the way, you cant loose a huge amount of weight, dont skip meals, your metabolism will slow down and you will gain weight.

Hi There,There’s no simple “healthy” way to lose that much weight that quick….but if you’ll STOP eating for the most part all “white stuff” such as sugar, flour, rice, bread, cookies (because they have sugar & flour) etc…and start doing a few healthly exercise slowly…you see start to see a weight lose pretty quick…stick to this diet and become more active and you be shaping up quicker than you reckon! Be Safe

  31. Jawny says:

I’m sorry but that goal is just very unrealistic. I’ll be frank, don’t count calories, and don’t stress your body out. If you’re eating healthy, fruits, vegetables, chicken, cowmilk/soymilk, nuts, etc.
Followed by active lifestyle, running, sports, swimming, whatever you choose. Just get up and do something active, if you live your life like this, it’s more realistic in the long run, and it’s easily obtainable. Unless you have professional help, 30 pounds is going to take at least 6 months.

    Less sugar, more honey
    Less coffee, more tea
    Less stout, more protein
    Less pop, more milk
    Less snacks, more nuts

  32. Cute Fuzzy Kitty says:

LOL I am sorry I am laughing at your last comment. It is right. I know people can be mean

Look, weight loss takes a lot of commitment and hard work. I know that you are keen to lose weight but losing 30 pounds in that amount of time is REALLY perilous and you will end up regaining it back.

I lost 28 pounds since January being on a diet that my doctor gave me and it really if you reckon about it is just common sense and it curves your appetite because it’s low glycemic

I work out 3 times a week an hour a day. I do water aerobics and I ride a bicycle. I also do excercises with small weights to tone up my arms

Here is the diet I use

Avoid sugar, that includes juices with added sugars.(that means corn syrup , corn sweeteners, sugar, glucose)
    avoid ANY sugar drink
I delight in crystal light and sugar free Kool -aid
Decaffeinated diet sodas are okay if you like soda, decaf is excellent because caffiene causes a raise in your blood sugar which increases appetites and it also causes a serious fall and makes you sleepy

whole grain snacks are excellent. Wheat thins are wonderful and have fantastic varieties of flavors,
limit your red meat and pork
    delight in fish and chicken
    avoid fried foods
avoid white potatoes sweet potatoes are okay(fresh ones)
avoid frozen snacks and meals they are loaded with sodium and stout
avoid white bread and eat whole grain

You don’t have to work yourself into the ground when you excercise. I do moderate work and I am looking and feeling fantastic. The diet has caused my energy to pick up and so has the excercise

Please don’t try to lose 30 pounds in 2-3 weeks that is so perilous

I promise you that when you start losing even when it’s just a few pounds people notice and they will tell you that you are looking excellent

This takes commitment and a right desire to lose.

you cant and shouldn’t lose that much that quick. I reckon that you could lose that much by the end of the summer if you eat right and workout . but these things take time. Im 256 and I just joined a gym. I have 100 pounds to lose my trainer said i should lose around 5 pounds amonth and within a year i could be very close to my goal. i hope that helped.

  34. fierynisse says:

No. That is an unhealthy amount, and you would probably gain more back.

But at your weight, it is possible to lose 15 lbs in that time if you:
-Drink lots of water (1 liter a day) Fill it up in the morning have it empty by bed time.
-No soda (even limit to 1 diet soda a day-8 oz)
-Walk for 35 minutes every day (you don’t have a heart problem right? ) Roller skating is an option too. 15 minutes is a start, but won’t make the same difference, so do as much time as you can.
-Eat water soluble fruits and vegetables: strawberries are awesome, canteloupe is excellent too. Celery with light ranch dressing is a perfect snack. Make one meal every day A salad with no more than 2 tbsp light dressing with tomatoes and cucumbers and any other veggies you like- toss the salad and you won’t miss the extra dressing!
-Lean meat: Rotisserie chicken, tuna canned in water (w/light mayo) and such.
-Lunch at school could be: Salad, or Taco salad without eating the shell or chips.
    -No fried food.
-Switch to 1% Milk. It is simpler to get use to than skim and chances are you will be able to stick to drinking it. Limit yourself to 1 cup of milk a day.
-No starchy pasta, white bread, or potatoes (yes this is hard)
-Only have 1 cup of non-sweetened whole grain cereal for snack or breakfast (like cheerios or rasin bran)
-Whole wheat bread with peanut butter is fantastic snack/breakfast on the go.
-Go for yogurt that has less than 21 grams of sugar. Add fresh fruit or a handful of rasin bran to sweeten.

Eat 5-7 times a day. Really. Keep snacks with you that you can eat between classes. Like a snack bag of 1/2 cup of trail mix of nuts and seeds with dried fruit. A peanutbutter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat, with no sugar added jelly cut into 4 squares travels fantastic and can keep you going.

Be ware of commercial smoothies, since they are packed with so much sugar and have a ton of calories!

IF you lose 15 lbs. be aware that up to 10 lbs of it will be water weight. After 3 – 5 weeks the weight loss may taper offer. You will need to increase your walking time (or swim – or wii – or jump rope)

After 3 weeks you should be able to start treating yourself to some of the things you stopped eating, like fries or mashed potatoes, but not every day and not more than once a day otherwise you will head back to where you were.

Remember you have to keep moving, dancing, rollerskating, etc.every day if you want to be healthy!

Prep your stuff on Sundays or at night so it ready to go when you need it.

  35. JimmyQ says:

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it.

Then also try to find a well balance diet program. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it’s well balanced. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these.

  36. Joe K says:

Losing weight is all about burning more calories than you consume. A pound of stout is equivalent to 3,500 calories, so if you burn 500 calories per day less than you consume, you can expect to lose a pound in 7 days. Your body naturally burns about 1,500 calories/day (depending on your height, weight, gender, etc.), so if you factor in how many calories your consuming and how many you’re burning (an hour of exercise burns between 300 and 1,000 calories depending on how intense it is), you can figure out how much you need to workout and limit what you eat to lose 30 pounds.
