You’re halfway there. You are now at a healthy weight, and all you have to do now is learn to feel comfortable with it. Getting over an eating disorder is not just about a number on a scale. It’s about learning to be comfortable when you are really healthy. It’s not about what your parents want, it’s about how you feel. It’s hard because your parents (and other adults) are the ones asking you to conform. But you have to get beyond that. It’s about learning to emotionally feel excellent when you’re healthy – not about conforming to their thought of what’s "excellent".

I reckon your parents would notice if you lost weight. You’re already at a healthy weight, and I’m sure your parents are paying attention to your weight and how you look:

But do they know how uncomfortable you are? Do they act like they care (question them, "What will it take to get your atention?" if they’re not helping you) ? Do you go to counseling still? You need support for the emotional side now, so keep asking for help until you get it.

Question your parents if it’s OK with them if you lose 10 lbs. That would make you more comfortable, but would still be within a healthy weight range. Learn to negotiate with them instead of hurting yourself behind their back.

Google negotiation skillls, and get a book from the library called "Getting to Yes." It’s more vital than the number on the scale. You’re having a power issue with your parents, and the only way to get over that is to learn to negotiate effectively. If you odn’t learn it, then you can only look forward to acting this way with your boss, your spouse and every other authority figure in your adult life. That will hobble you more than your weight.

Anyway, how did you find out what your weight is? If you had a problem before, then your parents should have place away the scale into storage.

You should be weighed by a professional who makes you stand backwards on it so you can’t see the number. If knowing your weight is stressing you out, then make sure you don’t find out what the number is. At least for the next six months, and then try again, to see if you can live with the stress without hurting yourself.
