Smith Center senior Colt Rogers had always looked up to Hoxie’s Mat Gilliland, a former four-time state champion at the Class 3-2-1A level. On Saturday, Gilliland, now a Hoxie assistant coach, saw Rogers match Gilliland’s feat.
